ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Sofie van Brandwijk, a 23-year-old videographer based in the Netherlands. I recently graduated as a mediaprofessional at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I specialized in audiovisual, where I learned all about creating videos. Later, I specialized in digital media strategies, what taught me all about setting up marketing campaigns and social strategies. My journey in the media industry began when I secured an internship with EndemolShine and Big Brother in 2020/2021. As a production intern, I had the opportunity to help bring the program back to television after 15 years. During my time there, I discovered my enthusiasm for working in the media industry.
I have always loved creating videos, although it was during the following internship as a video producer/videographer with NPO 3FM, one of the biggest national radio stations, where I really developed this passion. I honed my skills in creating and producing content, from concept to final product. The internship included producing videos for all social media platforms and television, including interviews, live performances, livestreams, and events such as 3FM Serious Request, Amsterdam Dance Event, and 3FM Exclusive with Arctic Monkeys. Since completing this internship, I have continued to pursue my passion as a freelance video producer, creating and producing engaging and impactful content. I pride myself on my positive mindset, always striving to achieve my goals and create work that stands out. With my diverse skill set and dedication to my work, I'm excited to see where my journey in the media industry takes me.
